Supersand Eagles’ll mount challenge for title, says coach

Nigeria’s Supersand Eagles will be ready to challenge strongly for the Africa Beach Soccer Cup of Nations trophy when the tournament begins in Lagos on Tuesday, 13th December, according to Head Coach, Audu Adamu Ejo.

Ejo, who has steered the Supersand Eagles to some credible outings in the past few years, told thenff.com on Friday that he has a team good enough to emerge the champions of Africa on 18th December.

“We have been in camp and working hard as we prepare for this competition. For the past three weeks, we have been at it getting ready for the championship.

“The players, other members of the technical crew and myself are confident we are going to challenge for the trophy, nothing less. Nigeria is one of the strongest teams in beach soccer in Africa and playing at home, we believe the added advantage of crowd support will push us all the way.”
