BREAKING: Mikel leads the roost as Rohr releases final World Cup list

Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr has released his final squad list for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

Leading the pack of 23 players is captain of the team, Mikel Obi. The list released by Rohr has three goalkeepers, eight defenders, six midfielders and six forwards.

two players, Mikel Aku and Ola Aina, who had made the provisional 25-man list released by Rohr recently. They will however still make it to Russia as alternate players.

The Eagles, who are making their sixth appearance at the World Cup, are drawn in Group D of the World Cup alongside debutantes, Iceland, Croatia and two-time world champions, Argentina. Thay play their opening game on June 16, 2018 against Croatia.
